I heard good reviews about this movie, too. I gotta go see it b4 i can appreciate that 'Money CAN Buy Happyness'<:-D.... unless you're kidding abt it!:D I can't tell anymore sometimes whether or not you're joking....:D:D:D
LOL. I'm being sarcastic even though there's some truth to it. :)
I was just talking to Ucup about this. When you're really poor, it's harder to be happy about life when you don't know when you're going to get kicked out since you can't pay rent. So money DOES help. Although, when you're too rich, then money can bring problems too. So the safer zone is being middle class.
However, there are instances when a person have enough wisdom that money does not define his/her happiness. Such wisdom is rare and I don't think I have it. I do not wish for the test of wisdom to come either! :)
I like that you're being sarcastic and conveying the truth at the same time. You make me laugh when I read your blogs/comments. I'd be on the ground reading your posts!:):):) You are definitely skilled at this. Keep up the good work!! Keep the partey movin'!!
If you mean matre as in money is the most important qualification in finding a mate, then you may missed out on a lot of good things in your relationship.
If it's just another qualification in finding a mate, then depends on the degree of importance of it and your situation.
If it's a qualification on finding a friend, then you would missed out on a lot of good friends
Besides, you don't want to be financially dependent on anyone anyway regardless man or woman :)
Hyeeeii Guuuys!!:D R u guys talking abt 'matre' as how the term 'cewe matre' is usually referred to??
If that's the case, the man needs to have a Beverly Hills mansion, to drive an SLR Benz, to own (NOT work in) his own company. And then to maintain her, he needs to throw in her way all-she-can-have unlimited credit cards & cash so she can get herself some branded goodies.
There's no absolute right or wrong in being 'matre'. I find some guys do not mind dating matre girls. As long as she is fine, he'll play blind. Sometimes the fine ones can afford to be matre because some guys are suckers for fine women and they'll support her habits. If both parties agree to such lifestyle arrangement, who are we to say to them they've made a wrong choice to be together??
It is also supply & demand. If there are no guys playing blind and playing 'the suckers' role to go for these fine, 'matre' girls; then there wouldn't be as many 'matre' girls around.
Another point is that some people become 'matre' due to life circumstances. In other words, it becomes a lifestyle choice later on in life. Initially they do it for survival reasons. Everyone knows the expression : survival of the fittest. Sometimes being matre is the only way they know how to get ahead and progress in life. I don't advocate people to choose such a lifestyle; but if they do, they may have reasons why they have made a choice to live such a lifestyle. In other words, sometimes the matre person marry rich because that is the only way they know how to survive life, literally. Otherwise, how else are they going to live?? And who wants to live a hard life if they can help it, right?? In this case, love & happiness become secondary and it is understandable. Basic every day survival is primary and needs to be fulfilled first.
I have also run into 'matre' guys. And they look for the same things when trying to find a mate.
So back to that basic saying : People Do What They Need To Do To Survive This So Called Life Phenomenon.
