God and love

Someone said God is Love and Love is God.

Let me ponder this. So if you have Love, you have God and if you have God, you have love.

Someone also said that if you speak in tongues but don't have Love, then you're just loud noises. If you have all knowledge and have faith to move mountain but don't have Love, you are nothing.

Let me get this straight. So if you're a great speaker but no Love, you're saying nothing. If you're a great leader but no Love, you're nothing. If you know the bible inside out, can defend your faith perfectly, and even definitely prove than everybody else's religion is imperfect, but have no Love, you're nothing.

So why the heck churches are looking for great speakers, personalities, motivators, geniuses in bibles, great resumes on leadership, when love is the one that makes everything matters? Why isn't Love the main criteria the churches are looking for? THEN check out if they are great speakers, motivators, bible genius, or great leaders.

Why settle for easy fact checking when the point of looking for God is faith and not facts?

Oh yeah, feel free to substitute the word church with mosque, temple, and whatever else people gather looking for Love.

Oh well, you're reading a rant from someone who doesn't go to church regularly. And, even wonders if God is really watching. Don't listen to me. Find someone with better track record. Or knowledge. Pick your poison.
