flower

a flower waiting to bloom
can't wait to come too soon
alas 'tis not the season
there is no other reason

the flower can't wait and cry
it thought it'll surely die
then the summer wind comes by
wiping the flower's tears 'till dry

the summer wind stay a while
then fall knocks the leaves to a pile
come winter with a chily smile
it could even freeze the nile

the flower wait and wait
the pain of it seems too great

but suddenly. . . warmth comes about
sunlight emerges. . . breaking the cloud. . .
spring is here! the flower yells aloud
it's petals flourish with so much proud!

it is time, it is time!
for the flower to reach it's prime!

and so it is the end of this rhyme
